Currently, ASAK consists of approximately 600 members including 248 permanent members. The members are entitled to receive the ASAK Newsletter and each issue of the Journal of American Studies. They are also entitled to present their thesis and essays as well as attend all the events hosted by the association such as the Student Workshops and the International American Studies Conference.
